The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two drug traffickers and seized 53 bottles of Phensidyl from Jahaz Company Mor in Rangpur city on Wednesday night, reports BSS.
On a tip off, a special squad of DB police raided the area, seized 53 bottles of smuggled Phensidyl and arrested the drug traffickers from the spot around 9:30pm.
The arrested persons were identified as Ezarul Haque, 22, of village Sahebganj under Kawnia upazila here and Badshah Mina, 24, of Kamarpara area in Rangpur city.
A case was filed in this connection with Kotwali Thana and the arrested persons were sent to jail after being produced before a Rangpur court Thursday.
