Eleven people died and more than 60 were injured in separate road accidents on Tuesday.
At least nine people were killed and 40 others injured in a road accident in Muksudpur upazila of the district Tuesday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, reports banglanews.
Witnesses said two passenger buses collided head-on in Muksudpur area at around 11:15am, leaving nine dead on the spot and injuring others.
Death toll from the accident may rise.
In another acciden,t two people died and 20 people were injured in Bogra.
The accident occurred when a bus lost its control on Natore-Bogra highway on Tuesday morning.
The injured were taken to Bagra Ziaur Rahman Medical College hospital for treatment.
