The government has fixed 9am to 3:30pm with 15 minutes interval from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm for Zohr prayers for the month of holy Ramadan, reports BSS.
According to an official announcement on Monday, the timetable will be applicable for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions.
However, authorities of banks, insurers, other financial institutions, postal departments, railway departments, hospitals, public sector industries and factories may run their offices in accordance with their own rules considering public interest.
Friday and Saturday will remain holidays, the release added.
