A light earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shacked the country on Monday morning.
According to the Met office, the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 9:44am, was the Brahmanbaria-Tripura border region, 104 kilometres east of Dhaka.
However, no casualty was reported in the tremor, reports UNB.
