‘I got afraid riding an elephant’

Popular actor Zahid Hasan’s popularity on television screen has never been unstable. From ‘90s till now, he has carried his popularity and strived to fulfill expectations of his fans. After successfully playing a multitude of versatile characters, he has elevated the expectations of his audience and kept them interested.

Recently, he will be seen in a comedy drama named “Tipu Sultaner Hati,” directed by Himu Akram. Zahid Hasan is playing the character of Tipu Sultan in the drama who wants to get married to have a ride on an elephant like Nawab Tipu Sultan.

The shooting of the drama was completed recently. While talking about playing the character of Nawab Tipu Sultan, Zahid Hasan shares, “I got afraid when I had to get on the elephant. I really enjoyed my character though. I love the way Himu directs and his simple story writing techniques. I hope my fans will love to see me as the Nawab.”

Rifat Chowdhury, Faruk Ahmed, Safiul Azam Pintu, Disha and Shimanto have acted along with Zahid Hasan in this drama. The plot of the drama revolves in a village where Tipu Sultan, lives an ordinary life. Whenever someone calls him by his name, it makes him quite angry. He prefers to be called Nawab Tipu Sultan and whatever he dresses himself in, he never forgets to put on his crown.

Alas! He seriously fulfills his wish and rides an elephant for his marriage ceremony. The story takes turn when the bride escapes the marriage ceremony and Tipu Sultan takes off his Kingly attire.
