Exclusive display of artworks by BTV artists on at Bengal Gallery

A 10 day group art exhibition titled “Saga of Creativity” by artists and designers of BTV is going on at Bengal Gallery of Fine arts and will continue till July 3. The participants are all employees of BTV both retired and current. They are not professional painters, sculptors or printmakers per say, but they have been designers and art directors of BTV and have sense of art in them. Their creativity has tempted and encouraged them to paint, sculpt or print at least once in their life. All of their paintings are collected, curetted and is now in display at Bengal Shilpalaya.   34 artists such as eminent puppeteer Mustafa Monowar, Anowar Hossain, Rejaul Karim , Muhammaed Yunus to Zahid Mustafa, Runa Layla, Shapan Saha, Sanjib Saha Md Shafiqul Islam and many more participated in this exhibition and 61 art works are at display.    The variety of the art works presented is the most noteworthy feature of this exhibition. As the age and thought of each individual varies, it is reflected in their art. Art lovers get to see a wide range of creations of painting and sculpture using different medium, element and vision.   There are figurative paintings, ornamental art works, metal sculptures, which are interesting in a way that how only the sense of art can  be the inspiration as well as temptation to venture with line and colour in canvas to create art. From abstract to landscape- limitless possibilities can be observed as one go through the display. Some paintings really show the natural forte and talent of the artists.   It’s an attractive show for viewers and art critiques alike. The distinctiveness of the arrangement of this exhibition will be remembered. The exhibition has been inaugurated by Cultural Minister Hasanul Haque Inu on June 23.
