A lighter vessel capsized in the Chittagong sea port in front of the Ammonia jetty Tuesday morning.
The ship, carrying 1,500 tonnes steel plates, sank at around 10:30am after water entered the dock, according to a banglanews report. Secretary of the port Syed M Farhad Uddin said: “This would not hinder the movement of other ships.”
