“Praioshchitto,” the first mixed album of hard rock band Savagery hits the market at the end of this month, under the banner of Incursion Music. The band will contribute four of its original tracks to the album along with other artist’s songs. They have planned on releasing their first solo-album later this year.
The vocalist of the band is Zesun, Azmain Adil and Movi Kabir as guitarists, Rakin Rumman as bassist, Mashuq Haque as keyboardist and Nabil Haque in drums.
Starting in February 2012 with a solid six piece line up Savagery has done nothing but try to break the mold of today’s boring repetitive metal – core.
While talking to Dhaka Tribune about their expectation from the album, Savagery said: “With this formation, we are working on creating original songs of our own. Our lyrics have definite social scruples. We also go all-out to be real to everyone we come in contact with. We want to be a shining example of metal bands in Bangladesh.”
When asked about their inspiration, the versatile youngsters inform: “We are influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth and Metallica. We mix metal and rock together seamlessly and hope that the line-up will remain unchanged as long as our band is active. With a plethora of musical tastes and backgrounds ranging from heavy metal to progressive rock and hardcore, we do not have any limitations with our ability and style.”
