President Abdul Hamid has moved to his Bangabhaban residence from the Speaker’s official residence on Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban premises, reports UNB.
“Honorable President Abdul Hamid shifted to his Bangabhaban residence on Monday night,” President’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim informed on Tuesday.
On April 22, former Speaker Abdul Hamid was elected the country’s 20th President unopposed and took the oath of office on April 24.
