Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad is flying to Singapore on Monday for treatment for his wife Begum Rowshan Ershad, according to officials.
A Malaysia Airlines flight carrying Ershad, Rowshan, and their son, Shad Ershad, was scheduled to take off at 12:40pm.
Major Dr Khaled is also accompanying them on the visit.
