Army lift Taekwondo title

Bangladesh Army emerged as the champions of the men’s senior section in the Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo clinching seven gold medals yesterday.  Border Guard Bangladesh finished as runners-up with four gold medals. BJMC stood third with three gold medals,  Sirajganj became the champions in the men’s junior section with two gold medals while BJMC were the winner of the senior women’s section with five gold medals. The title of the junior women’s section went to Women’s Sports Association who won three gold medals. State minister for housing, Abdul Mannan Khan distributed the prizes as the chief guest. Lee Young Yun, the Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh, was also present as special guest.
