Leading bands Warfaze and Nemesis along with a number of promising bands will perform Friday at a concert titled “Rise of Chittagong Kaos” in Chittagong Gymnasium Hall.
Confirming their trip to Chittagong, drummer of Warfaze Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu told Dhaka Tribune: We will present some of our hit tracks such as “Jotodure,” “Shadhikar,” “Boshe Achi,” “Moharaj” and few others. Moreover, we will present tracks requested by the audience. We are rehearsing for the last two days for this concert.”
Nemesis, another popular rock band will also present their own numbers from their last two studio albums. “We are not performing songs by others for last few years, since we have a good number of songs of our own,” said Zohad, vocalist of the band.
Tirondaz, Explore, Crowphetz and Oitijjho are other featured bands of the concert.
The gate will be opened at 3pm. Tariqul Sumon, the managing director of 360 Degree Events and Communication, event manager of the concert, said: “Chittagong is the motherland of Bangladeshi Rock music. This event is organised just for Chittagong music lovers. To sustain the flow we are planning to organise a series of concerts for satisfying different music lovers.”
