The government has decided to appoint M Fazlul Karim – the current ambassador to Jordan – as the next ambassador to the United Mexican States.
During his diplomatic career Fazlul Karim has served as the ambassador to Italy and Saudi Arabia.
He was with the Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, as well as the Bangladesh embassies in Jakarta and Washington DC, the High Commission in Islamabad, and the Bangladesh Consulate General in Hong Kong in various capacities, said a press release Monday.
