TT team lose all three

Bangladesh men’s and women’s table tennis teams lost all three of their encounters at the World Table Tennis Championship, which concluded in Paris yesterday. Bangladesh played in the qualification round and in the Men’s doubles event, Mahbub Billah and Manash Chowdhury were defeated by Juma Hasan and Saleh Mahmud of Bahrain by 3-1 sets while Moumita Alam and Sonam Sultana pair lost to Venezuela 3-0 in the women’s doubles. Indonesian pair Poiyo and Fitria defeated Bangladesh’s Manash and Sonam Sultana pair by 3-2 sets in the mixed doubles event. Though all the results were available on the official website of the meet federations joint secretary Samiruddin said that he has no idea about the team's result in France.
