The High Court on Monday asked concerned authorities to submit a list of those still missing after the collapse of Rana Plaza in Savar on April 24.

“The list is to be prepared on the basis of appointment letters, identity cards and other documents, and must be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka district and the Chief Inspector of Factories under the Ministry of Labour on or before next Monday,” the HC order stated.

The bench, with Justice Mirza Hossain Haider and Justice Mohammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar gave the interim order after hearing a petition on the building collapse in Savar and the fire at Tazreen Fashions in Ashulia.

The HC asked for all records related to the factories located in Rana Plaza, and directed the Savar municipality mayor now suspended and the mayor in-charge to submit the documents within a week. The court further instructed the Ministries of Labour and Home affairs, Police and Fire Service and Civil Defense personnel to submit their respective investigation reports about the fire at Tazreen Fashions within a fortnight.
