Update : 29 Apr 2013, 11:54 AM

The relatives of the missing people, along with the locals have reportedly started searching each and every vehicles, which are passing through the Dhaka-Aricha highway apprehending that the authority may take away the bodies of missing people.

Sources said a number of locals and relatives of the victims started searching the vehicles at about 4pm alleging that the authority is trying to hide the bodies of their relatives, who went missing after the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, they are chanting different slogans, demeaning the bodies of missing people and seeking capital punishment for Rana, the owner of the commercial building.

Earlier in the day, they gathered in front of the wreckage of Rana Plaza in Savar with a plea to stop using heavy machinery to lift rubble.

The protesters said it may reduce the chances of finding survivors.

Relatives and family members are yet to find the bodies of their loved ones from the debris of the collapsed Rana Plaza and tried to persuade rescuers and the authorities present at the site not to use heavy machinery to lift concrete slabs.

The protesters feared that if the rescue workers use heavy machinery, the fickle foundation of the already collapsed building will fall and there will be no hope left of getting out those who might still be stuck under the rubble.
