Death anniv of Sher-e-Bangla today

To mark the occasion of the 51st death anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque, doa and milad mahfil will be held after magrib prayer at his ancestral home in Chakhar in Barisal today (Saturday).

Doa and milad mahfil will also be held at KM Das Lane Jame Masque in Tikatuli, Dhaka, at the same time, according to a press release.

His grandson AK Faiyazul Huq Razu requested followers and family members of Sher-e-Bangla to attend the prayers. 

 Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque, popularly known as Sher-e-Bangla meaning ‘tiger of Bengal’, was a famous politician in the then British India and a pioneer of nationalistic politics.

 He was born in 1873 and died on April 27, 1962
