Rana Plaza Collapse: 2 industrial policemen rescued after 49 hours

Two members of the Industrial Police who got trapped inside Rana Plaza that collapsed on Wednesday morning were rescued alive this morning, 49 hours after the horrific incident.

Assistant sub-inspector Mukul and constable Rafiqul Islam were rescued from under the debris of the collapsed building around 10 am, said Lt Col Sharif, Commanding officer of Savar Combined Military Hospital.

They were rushed to the Savar CMH, reports UNB.

ASI Mukul and constable Rafique went to Rana Plaza on Wednesday morning to inspect it. However, they got trapped inside the building when it crashed all on a sudden around 8:45am.
