Readymade garment workers called a daylong strike for Sunday to press home their seven-point demand including punishment for the owners of Rana Plaza and compensation for the victims of the tragedy.
Leaders of eight RMG workers’ organisations made the announcement in a press conference at the capital’s Mukti Bhaban today at noon.
Earlier today, garment workers went berserk in different areas of the capital protesting the deaths in the Savar tragedy.
