Authorities of the hospitals where the injured of Savar building collapse were admitted on Wednesday sought blood of different groups urgently for the injured workers, reports UNB.
They requested the people willing to donate blood to contact the hospitals concerned immediately.
Meanwhile, state minister for local government Jahangir Kabir Nanok urged all to help the government to collect some 500 bags of blood.
The injured were mostly admitted to National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute, Enam Medical College Hospital and nearby other private hospitals.

Besides, The Ganajagaron Mancha in city’s Shahbagh has launched a blood donation campaign.
Moreover, Dhaka Medical College Hospital has been kept ready for providing treatment to the Savar building collapse injured apart from the National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute.
