United Air resumes Dhaka-Barisal flight tomorrow

United Airways (BD) Limited, the country’s one of the largest private airlines, will resume its flight operation on Dhaka-Barisal route from tomorrow.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Faruk Khan will inaugurate the flight at Barisal Airport in the morning, officials said.

The one-way special fare for Dhaka-Barisal starts from Tk 3,000 while the return (two-way) fare is Tk 6000 (including taxes). Initially, two flights from Dhaka to Barisal will be operating on Thursday and Sunday a week.

It also has a plan to operate flights from Dhaka to Singapore, Yangon, Doha, Dammam, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Karachi shortly.

United Airways, a leading private airlines, is active both on domestic and international routes, now operating flights from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata.
