He adds: “If I have to say I’m sitting on a stage with Chairman Kim and that’s going to get us to save 30 million lives, maybe more than that, I’m willing to sit on the stage, I’m willing to travel to Singapore very gladly.”
Trump says he is not concerned about Kim using the video he had presented to him at the press conference as propaganda, reports the Guardian.

2:54pm- Trump says more details will be provided about the destruction of North Korea’s missile engine test sites, reports the Guardian.
He says he had 300 “very big and powerful” sanctions ready last week but held off ahead of the summit because imposing them would have been “disrespectful.”
What about US allies?
2:52pm-A reporter asks Trump if the row following the G7 meeting will damage the US's relations with its long-standing allies.
He says he had "a very good" meeting with the G7 but the US is being "taken advantage of."
2:47pm- Trump says "We haven't given up anything" other than agreeing to meet Kim Jong-un.
"Only a person that dislikes Trump would say we've agreed to make a big commitment," he says.
However, many analysts argue that a bilateral meeting with a sitting US president is a propaganda victory for North Korea.

The report said: “Korean Central Television (KCTV) began broadcasting at 0600 gmt (12pm BdST) and carried news of Kim’s Singapore tour the previous day even as international media outlets have been showing live coverage of the summit between him and Trump.

China praises summit as 'historic'
12:51pm- China praises the summit as historic and calls for “full denuclearization” to resolve tensions on the Korean peninsula, AFP reports.
The fact that the two leaders “can sit together and have equal talks has important and positive meaning, and is creating a new history,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi tells reporters.
“The crux of the peninsula nuclear issue is a security issue. The most important, difficult part of this security issue is for the United States and North Korea to sit down to find a way to resolution via equal talks,” Wang says.

07:45am- The interpreter with Trump is Dr Yun-hyang Lee, according to a source familiar. She is the division chief of interpreting services at the State Department.
They'll meet one-on-one for just under an hour, before expanded talks begin at 8am (Bangladesh time). On the agenda are North Korea's nuclear capabilities. Trump is hoping he can convince Kim to give up his weapons.
It is the meeting which the Trump has teased could happen for years. In May 2016, during his campaign, Trump said he would be willing to sit down with Kim.
"I would speak to him, I would have no problem speaking to him," Trump said at the time.
