Detective Branch (DB) of police have detained three people with firearms and ammunition from Bangshal area in Dhaka.
DB police arrested them with five pistols, a revolver and 30 rounds of bullets from the capital on Wednesday evening.
DMP DC Media Maruf Hossain Sardar confirmed the detention to the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday morning.
He said details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing later in the day.
