A private university student in Chittagong has been killed in a clash between two groups.
The deceased is Sohel Ahmed, a student of Premier University's Bampara branch in Chittagong.
University sources said the two groups were locked in a clash at a freshers' reception for the BBA 31st batch on Monday afternoon.
Three students were injured in the incident. Of the three, Sohel died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 2pm.
CMCH police outpost Nayek Abdul Hamid confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
