Fire has broken out at a shop in the capital's Kafrul Boubazar area in Mirpur.
The fire ignited at Boubazar and soon engulfed nearby shops around 11:10am on Friday.
Fire service duty officer Bhajan Sarkar said: “Five units from the fire service went to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
“Some four to five shops were partially damaged in the fire.”
He added that no causalities were reported in the incident.
