Three people died and another three were injured in a collision between a truck and a human hauler at Ganggair under Modhupur upazila in Tangail.
The deceased are Jamal Uddin, 55, the son of the late Fotik Uddin of Mashajaan area, Samia, 8, the daughter of Sohel Mia, and Raiz Uddin, 60.
Modhupur OC Shofiqul Islam said: “Samia died on the spot in the accident that occurred around 12:45am on Thursday.
“Jamal and Raiz died while they were being shifted to Tangail Medical College Hospital from Modhupur Upazila Health Complex.”
