The cabinet has approved the draft of "The National Industrial Policy, 2016" aimed at rapid industrialisation and attracting more investment in the country.
The approval came at the regular cabinet meeting held at Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, reports BSS.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam said the proposed policy is going to be framed by updating the existing National Industrial Policy, 2010 and keeping intact its continuity.
