Three people including two women have been killed as a passenger bus rammed into a private car from behind in Khilkhet flyover area in the capital.
Khilkhet police station Sub-Inspector Shahidur Rahman confirmed the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
The deceased were identified as Delwar Hossain, 65, his sister Anwara Begum, 40, and her daughter Lovely Khatun, 22, said the SI.
The police official said a passenger bus of Ena Paribahan hit the private car in the area around 4pm on Sunday, leaving three passengers of the car and its driver critically injured.
Later, they were rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital where the duty doctors declared three passengers of the car dead, he added.
The driver of the car is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
