The contemporary décor of black walls, cosy lighting, and Kygo beats in the background will give you a break from the conventional interior design of the usual sushi joints in the capital. “Our concept was to open a Japanese restaurant for all kinds of people,” says Ariq Husain, one of the co-owners of the place. “We wanted to break the typical notion of Japanese cuisine being catered to only a certain category of customers.” And truly, the price list did absolute justice to his words. The particularity of the place is that it serves high quality delicacies at affordable prices.
Tokyo Express has a carte du jour which is an assortment of delectable and exquisite food. One will get to choose from a mélange of tempuras, sushis and sashimi, makirolls, mains and chillers for lunch and dinner. Their famous Bento Box is also unparalleled.
