Finance Minister AMA Muhith will hold a press conference on hacked money from reserve fund of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday.
Muhith’s Personal Secretary MM Zakiria Haque told this to the reporters on Monday at his secretariat office.
Finance Ministry sources said Atiur Rahman, the governor of Bangladesh Bank, returned in Dhaka on Monday after attending in a conference of International Monetary Fund in New Delhi, the capital city of India.
In the evening the finance minister held meeting at his secretariat office to finalise four members inquiry committee to investigate into the hacked money from BB reserve funds, sources said.
After cabinet meeting finance minister told reporters: “I am waiting for Atiur (the governor).
Replying to a question about any change of Bangladesh Bank, Muhith said: “I am taking the matter seriously.”
