A fire has broken out at Korail slum in the capital’s Mohakhali.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters control room duty officer Bhajan Kumar Sarker told the Dhaka Tribune that the fire originated at around 8pm on Monday.
Nine firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame at 9pm, he said.
No casualty was reported in the fire incident till updating of this file at 9:30pm.
