A Dhaka court has accepted the supplementary charge sheet in Jubo League leader Milky's murder case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Asaduzzaman Nur also issued arrest warrant against six absconding accused in the case.
The six accused are Shakhawat Hossain Chanchal, Md Arif alias Arif Hossain, Md Ibrahim Khalil Ullah, Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury, Md Sharif Uddin and Fahima Islam Lopa.
On September 23 last year, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted the supplementary charge sheet before the court implicating seven more people along with the previous 11 accused.
On April 15, assistant director of Rapid Action Battalion 1 Kazemur Rashid submitted a charge sheet against 11 people in the murder case.
However, the court on June 17 of the year following a no confidence petition, ordered the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of police to re-investigate the Jubo League leader Riazul Haque Khan Milky murder case.
Reazul Haque Khan Milky, who was an organising secretary of Dhaka City (South) unit of the Awami League's youth wing, was shot dead by armed men in the early hours of Tuesday, in front of a shopping centre in Gulshan 1.
Later that same day, Milky’s brother, Maj Rashidul Haque Khan, filed a murder case with Gulshan police station accusing 11, including Chanchal and Zahid Siddiki Tarek.
Tarek, meanwhile, was killed in “crossfire” during a gunfight between RAB and unidentified gunmen on July 31 in the city’s Khilkhet.
