Bangladesh cricket fans have reacted to Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin's twitter post over the match between Bangladesh and Oman.
Before the final qualifier match on Sunday, Ashwin, in his verified Twitter account, posted: "Can't wait to see the Bangladesh v Oman game. If Bangladesh win, the whole country will be happy but if Oman does Cricket will be happy."
In response to Ashwin's post, Bangladesh supporter Md Rabiul Haque commented: "Dear ashwin. then arrange a match between Oman and India. Loose the match and do good for cricket ..."
Tigers' fan Azad replied: "I reckon you praying for Oman to win as you don't wanna face the Tigers!!!!"
Another Tigers' fan Ashiq wrote: "You are rite ashwin, if Bangladesh wins BD will be happy. But,, But if Oman wins only India will happy. Say it openly man."
In reply to another comment, Ashwin said: "Bangladesh will be very difficult to beat, but the possibility of Oman qualifying itself is so good for the game."
On Sunday, Bangladesh confirmed a berth in the Super 10 round of the 2016 World Twenty20 after defeating Oman by 54 runs (Duckworth/Lewis method) in their third and final qualifier. The Tigers finished at the summit of Group A following two wins in three matches.
