A fire has broken out in an eight-storied building in the capital's Moghbazar area.
Locals noticed a smoke on the eighth floor of the building on Saturday evening, said Fire Service and Civil Defence control room officials.
The officials told the Dhaka Tribune that being informed, five units of firefighters rushed to the spot.
Reasons behind the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
