A young man has been killed as the rickshaw he was riding in was hit by a truck at Kalyanpur in the capital.
Deceased Habibullah, 22, worked at Moghbazar's Ad-Deen Hospital.
Victim's relatives said Habibullah was returning home along with his brother-in-law when the truck knocked down their rickshaw around 5:30am Friday. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector Mohammad Julhas Uddin said the body was kept at the hospital's morgue for autopsy.
