A suspected thief has been beaten to death by an angry mob at Bondor upazila in Narayanganj.
Two others were also injured in the incident. They were admitted to Khanpur 300-Bed Hospital.
The deceased is Mohammad Linkon alias Likhon, 35, son of Amanullah.
Sources said locals beat the trio up around 12 noon Thursday following a theft incident at a grocery shop on Wednesday night.
Bondor police station Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahman said one was killed on the spot in the lynch mob action.
The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy.
