A police constable has been killed and four others have been injured as their pickup van rammed into a tree at Bochaganj in Dinajpur.
The deceased is Abdul Latif, of Gaibandha.
Dinajpur Police Super Ruhul Amin said: “The pickup van rammed into a roadside tree when it driver lost his control over the steering around 3am Monday. Abdul died on the spot.”
He said the injured police officials have been admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital and Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
