February 25th 2016 marks the day an Indian brand for Model United Nations, the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) came to Dhaka, Bangladesh to organise a Model United Nations (MUN) conference. The opening ceremony will be taking place in the Army Golf Club, inaugurated by Fazal Rabbi Miah- the deputy speaker for the Bangladeshi Parliament; additional private secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Rishabh Shah, who is the founder and president of IIMUN, along with the dean of North South University, Prof Dr Mohammad Mahboob Rahman. The winning contingent of this conference will be eligible to participate in the IIMUN USA conference where students from all across the world will be coming together to debate in the headquarters of the United Nations in New York. This conference in Dhaka has been presented by the Delhi Public School STS and IIMUN has partnered with the Dhaka Tribune as a media partner who will be covering the entire event.
