Police have recovered the body of a HSC candidate from Dhanmondi Lake in Dhaka.
Shudipto Dutta's body was recovered around 8am Tuesday. Later, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
He was a student of Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public School and College and was supposed to appear in the Higher Secondary School examinations this year.
Dhanmondi SI Moshiur Alam confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “Shudipto left his house after having a quarrel with his mother Chhonda Dutta regarding studies on Sunday night. He was missing since then.”
Later, Shudipto's father Ashim Kumar Dutta filed a general diary with the police station on Monday.
