Q Habibul Haque and SM Rezaul Karim pair emerged as the champions of the Khondkar Fazle Sobhan National Pairs Bridge Championship 2016 yesterday.
In the nail-biting finale held in the capital’s Engineering Institute, Habibul and Rezaul Karim ended up top-scoring with 278.97 points to clinch the title.
Mushfiqur Rahman Mohan and Mohammad Asaduzzaman duo became the runners up, Ali Ahammed and Sheikh Aminur Rahman finished third while Shamsuzzaman Kamal and Mohammad Salahuddin were placed fourth.
Bangladesh Enterprise Institute president Farooq Sobhan distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
IDLC Finance Limited head of marketing communications Sherifa Amreen was also present on the occasion as the special guest.
