Bangladesh Aichi Medical Group has inked a deal with Japan’s Ship Healthcare Holdings Inc to set up a 600-bed specialised hospital at Uttara.
The agreement was signed yesterday in Dhaka.
Health Minister Mohammed Nasim said the government encouraged hospitals to provide better services to the people. “Our government is committed to providing better health services to the people from grassroots level.”
Aichi Medical Group Chairman Dr Md Moazzem Hossain said 20 seats would be allocated for the poor where they would receive free treatment.
