A person has surrendered before a court in Khulna after suffocating his wife to death.
Daulatpur police station OC Md Maruf Ahmed said Munir Hossain killed his wife Rahima Begum and then surrendered in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on Thursday afternoon.
Later, police recovered the body of Rahima from her room.
Saulatpur police station SI Anjan Sarkar said victim's father Abdul Wahab Ali filed a case against Munir in this connection.
