The infant who miraculously survived a four-storey fall when his mother threw him out of the window of a Bailey Road house, has died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Dr Khaja Abdul Gofur, assistant director of DMCH, told the Dhaka Tribune that the baby boy died around 12:30pm Thursday at the neonatal unit of the hospital.
The boy came to the spotlight after he miraculously survived after being thrown out of the fourth floor by his own mother.

His mother Beauty who is a domestic help gave birth to the boy in her employer’s home on February 1. As the baby was born out of wedlock, apparently, fearing the social stigma Beauty threw out the baby as soon as he was born.
Beauty claimed to police that the father of the baby is her brother-in-law.
The baby boy was rescued by police after some locals informed them about the baby boy.
