A person has been killed and three others have received burn injuries in a fire that broke out at shop adjacent to the vegetable market in the capital's New Market area.
The deceased is Amzad, 30.
New Market police station SI Sohel said the fire broke out around 1:45am Wednesday.
He said: “On information, we went to the spot and doused the blaze. Four of them received burn injuries in the fire.
“Amzad died when we took the injured to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The others are being treated at the hospital.”
