Kaies Ali has been appointed the new managing director of Jovago Bangladesh with effect from February 14, 2016.
Prior to his joining this organisation, he served as director of branding and marketing of Hotel Agrabad.
Ali replaced Sharjil Hannan, the first managing director of Jovago Bangladesh, who had been in office since the organisation’s founding in Bangladesh in 2015.
Jovago Bangladesh (Jovago.com) is a leading online hotel booking platform of the country. It is a Rocket Internet AIG Venture and is the largest online hotel booking platform in Africa, providing booking services for over 200,000 hotels.
With the backing of German Rocket Internet Company and Qatar’s biggest telecom company Ooredoo, Ali now embarked on the mission to ride the digital wave and help hotels across the country increase their room booking through Jovago Bangladesh.
The hotel industry across all-star ratings is now expected to get a boost, which would benefit the country’s local tourism as well.
