Police have detained a person for his alleged involvement with the double murder in Gubindal village under Singair upazila of Manikganj district.
Johir Uddin, 65, was detained from Gubindal village on Monday night.
Singair OC Syeduzzaman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
Two brothers –Nannu Molla, 50, and Aziz Molla, 55--were murdered allegedly by their nephew and his musclemen in Gubindal village centring a dispute over ancestral property and borrowed money on Sunday morning.
The OC said: “Aziz's wife Forida Begum filed a case accusing 19 people for the murders.”
