Kardashian has made a hefty amount through lucrative endorsements over the years and, of course, with the help of their popular reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, she has also made a ton of money off of her Glu Mobile video game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.” Although the game itself is free, there are some in-app purchases required to avail full delight of the game, which surprisingly many people are willing to shell out.
CEO of Glu Mobile, Niccolo De Masi said at the DICE Summit conference in Las Vegas on February 17, that the video game has been downloaded an astounding 42 million times.
After the game was released in the summer of 2014, analysts speculated that the game would earn close to $200 million in a year. While on the other hand, TMZ sources estimated that Kardashian receives a 45% cut of profits, which leaves her with a hefty chunk of money enough to bail out her husband.
Kardashian’s younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, also stepped a level up by launching their own free video game app. In the Glu Mobile game, “Kendall & Kylie,” the girls work as social and life coaches to basically ensure the player looks pretty and rise through the ranks to the A-list. So far, the game has been gaining height substantially.
