The Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) called upon the visiting Turkish businessmen to invest in the country’s RMG, furniture and infrastructure sectors holding out a huge opportunity of investment.
FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad made the call at a meeting with a Turkey business group in the capital yesterday.
“Bangladesh is experiencing a sustainable growth of 6% for the last few years and we want to get Turkey as our development partner with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI),” said Ahmed.
He also said the visit will strengthen business relationship between Bangladesh and Turkey.
A 23-member business delegation of Turkish Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics Association held meeting with the apex trade body.
The meeting aimed at boosting bilateral trade between the two countries.
There was also one-on-one business meeting between the sectoral representatives of both countries.
Turkish business leaders introduced the line of their business and expressed interest to import necessary products from Bangladesh.
The Turkey’s delegation also invited Bangladesh business community to visit their country to explore new business window there.
