Padma Bridge will be the 25th longest road bridge in the world, Roads and Highways Minister Obaidul Quader has said.
The minister told the parliament Padma Bridge would be ranked top on the basis of the length and depth of its foundation and 25th in length among the largest river bridges in the world.
The minister also said BRTA has been registering 855 new cars in every working day.
Replying to a query, Quader said some 24,88,101 motorised vehicles were registered till January 31, 2016.
