A suspected robber has been beaten to death by mob in Bagdi area of Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
Araihazar OC Shakhawat Hossain said: “A group of robbers where trying to stop vehicles and rob the passenger in Bagdi area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 1am Monday.”
He said: “The locals gathered and caught one of the robbers and beat him to death while the others fled the scene.”
Earlier, three suspected robbers were beaten to death by mob in Zindapark area under Rupganj upazila of the district on Saturday.
